Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of the Skyclock browser extension and the skyclock.io website. Skyclock is provided free of charge by Between Collective. By installing or using it, you agree to what follows.
Licence
You may install and use Skyclock on any number of your own devices, for personal or commercial purposes, at no cost. This is a licence to use the software, not a transfer of ownership: Between Collective retains all rights in the extension, the website, the name and the design.
You may not:
- redistribute, resell or republish Skyclock as your own product;
- remove or obscure attribution or branding;
- use the Skyclock name or logo in a way that suggests endorsement or partnership without written permission.
No warranty
Skyclock is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
In particular, and although the extension is built to be accurate: it is a convenience, not a precision instrument. Time zone rules and daylight-saving transitions change, sometimes at short notice and sometimes retroactively. Skyclock relies on the time zone data built into your browser and operating system, so its accuracy depends on those being current. Do not rely on Skyclock alone for decisions where being wrong about the time carries real consequences — such as travel, legal deadlines, medical schedules, financial markets or safety-critical work. Always confirm against an authoritative source.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Between Collective is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, business or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use Skyclock — including any missed appointment, deadline or communication resulting from a time displayed by the software.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue Skyclock at any time, and we may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date above. Because the extension runs entirely on your machine, a version you have already installed will keep working until you update or remove it.
Privacy
Skyclock collects no personal data. Our Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is stored and where.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, and the courts of Lisbon have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you use Skyclock as a consumer, nothing in this section removes any protection given to you by the mandatory law of the country where you live, including the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
